2018 Schedule of Events
ALDA-Peach events are generally referred to as “gatherings” rather than meetings since we do not have much business to discuss! We have had a wide variety of activities since our inception. We sometimes have speakers, learn new hobbies, travel to Atlanta sites or hold picnics. Sometimes our speakers are related to topics relevant to people with hearing loss such as an Americans With Disabilities lawyer or a telephone relay representative and sometimes they are a general topic of interest such as self-defense or the art of massage! Our meetings are open to anyone with a hearing loss and their significant others. The meetings are free and you do not have to be an ALDA-Peach member to attend. Peaches eat well, we always have a FINE array of refreshments!
Where Do We Meet?: We usually meet in the education building behind the main building at: Lawrenceville Road United Methodist Church 3142 Lawrenceville Highway Tucker, GA 30084
We are not affiliated with the church. They kindly offer us this no-cost meeting space.
On occasion we will meet in another location when we are having a cookout, holiday dinner or an outing, etc. The details are always publicized in the ALDA-Peach newsletter and on this website.
When Do We Meet?: ALDA-Peach is currently meeting every other month. We usually meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 2 p.m.
Any changes to the usual meeting date and/or time and/or place will be publicized in the ALDA-Peach newsletter and on this website.
